ohh Valentine's Day!!!

I celebrated my V-day a bit early than usual,

Valentine's Last Minute Ideas!

Quick presents to save the day!

  • As a little, corny gift, buy a giant sucker and make a card that says “I’m a sucker for you, Valentine.”
  • Buy a small flowerpot, fill with red or pink gift bag shred and add packs of seeds. Put a heart sticker on the pot, if desired. Add an tag that says "My love for you grows every day!" or something else that fits the type of seeds.
  • Make coupons for things the gift recipient will enjoy (such as a kiss, a massage, a hot fudge sundae, a car wash, or a special night out). Put them into a pretty envelope with a homemade or purchased card.
  • A romance novel, blank journal, or a book of love quotes are all sweet gift ideas.
  • Homemade cookies are always welcome and yummy. How about making or buying a giant cookie or heart-shaped cake?
  • Burn a CD of songs you know your Valentine will enjoy.
  • Buy a bag of chocolate Kisses and hide them all over the house, car, in pockets, and anywhere else they won’t melt. Or do the same with Conversation Valentine Hearts!
  • The Dollar Tree or other dollar stores will have lots of ideas to grab and go! Add a few balloons for extra "wow."

Best Valentine Presents for the Very, Very Last Minute

  • Buy seven helium balloons in pink, red, and white. Tie them into one big bouquet and attach the bundle to a heart-shaped candy box. Some dollar stores carry both.
  • For a guy (depending on age), grab a quick six-pack of a gourmet or imported beer or soda. Tie a little teddy bear to the top. Too young? Do the same with his fav candy bars.
  • If the only store open is a grocery, liquor or drug store, run in and grab flowers, a box of candy or another Valentine leftover (but only if they are still nice). If all the Valentine goodies are picked over, get a gift bag and stuff it full of your Valentine’s favorite candies out of the candy bag aisle. If there is time, add a homemade valentine with words from Sweet Love Words: Valentine Quotes.
  • Buy a romantic movie, popcorn, and candy wrap it in pink gift wrapping paper and have a movie night at home.
  • Grab from a pharmacy massage oils and give your honey a massage.
  • Go to walmart, kroger, publix, etc grab some strawberries, fruit or candy of your choice and also buy chocolate coating. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and cover any item with the chocolate.
I hope you have fun this little ideas useful. Have a Happy Valentine's Day!!

Green Hornet!!

So I saw THE GREEN HORNET the other day and let me tell you... I love it but I'm glad I didn't spend $3 dollars extra on the big 3D screen.
Let me say, as an admirer of Bruce Lee, I really wanted to go see this movie plus I wanted to see Seth and his new film. Like his others films Seth is annoying!!! and seriously a complete idiot, most of the jokes he did made me laugh out laugh at his ignorance while other really made me angry... I know I know it's just a movie... but still, any-who the fighting was awesome and that was probably the only thing that you needed your glasses to experience the 3D effect. I think this movie was one of those films that you only want to watch one time. Believe me, I have experience a lot of those movies like back when I was 11 years old I went to see Mr. Magoo and I laugh my butt off thru out the whole movie, but a few months later I watch that movie again with my family and it wasn't funny anymore... And the same feeling I had with Super Bad.
This movie I would recommend if you go in a group with lots of friends: boys and girls.
Sanctum came out last week and I really want to go see it so hopefully I can go this weekend and yes I'll probably spend those extra dollars in the 3D effect since base in the trailers it seems like a really cool movie plus my older brother used to go into caves and get dirty. It would be lots of fun!!!!
Love y'all!!!!!!!! See you in my next blog!!!

A Real Nightmare!!

I have a victoria secret gift card that I need to spend. My husband gave it to me because he says that I'm always complaining that I don't have bras!
I have spend 6 months looking for new bras but nothing fits me right! :(
 I hate bra shopping!!!!!!!!!!
My back is a bit wide (36-38) because I started swimming competitive since I was 5 years old and I stop when I found out I was pregnant,
but my bust size is in the A for one breast and nearly a B for the other breast.
Most of the time I have to grab a 36C or a 38B.  I guess some designers think that because you are an A you must be skinny and they make the A cup so small and the B cup way bigger that it comes very close to my neck.
The last time I went to VS back in 2005, they measure me and they told me I was a 38A but they don't offer that size so I should try a 38B, I really hope they have a 38A now; if not I guess I would never find a bra that fits me the right way a bra should fit!
Here I found this info that I hope it helps you and me!
The Essentials of a Good Fit:
Whether your budget is designer or off-the-rack, here's what you need to know.
  1. Be measured — at least once a year, because bra size can change depending on pregnancy, weight loss or gain. (I need to do since 19 months ago I gave birth and then I loss weight!)
  2. The breasts should fill the cups, not spill over. (My breast has never even fill the cups!)
  3. Go with seamed bras because seams add support.
  4. Stay away from elastic straps which dig in and leave marks in the shoulder. (that has happen to me before! so painful.)
  5. To conceal back fat, choose a bra with a wider band. (I desperately need!)
  6. Our experts tell us that you know you've got the right bra when you don't even know you're wearing one. (I need that feeling!!!!)

If you have the same problem, write me a comment so I won't feel like the only person in the world that has problems with their undergarments!

Is it too early for spring shopping!!

I love shopping for clothes not only for me but for anybody really...
Yes, even on Christmas I'm the one giving sweaters. LOL.
I love clothes, but I don't really follow any trends. I can go from punk, to preppy, to tomboy, to goth easily and I sometimes match my makeup to those times. I guess if somebody wants to describe my style they would crack their heads open trying to figure me out. The reason I don't follow trends is because they are not for every body type that exist today. While some people wear whatever is on trend at the time, even if the design doesn't flatter they body type. I prefer different styles as long as it flatters my body and I feel comfortable. That is why I never buy clothes without trying them on. Every time I go to the store I would grab maybe 10-20 items to try-on and many times only 1-2 items would fit perfectly. Sometimes some colors look beautiful but when I try them on it makes my body look wider or shorter. I prefer dark colors or just plain white, maybe cream but that would be pushing it. The colors that I ran away from are light colors! Pretty much anything that starts with the word BABY!

I recently went shopping and let me tell you Belk had some pretty good deals that I just couldn't resist!
Remember the jeans that I mention before well, yes I bought them! they look so good.... I wore them the other day with boots and a turtleneck... that combination never fails!
The dark wash makes me look skinnier!
I would recommend this jeans to woman who are on the curvy size, because honey I do have a butt and sometimes it gets squish in some skinny jeans. In the part of the leg was a bit loose but I didn't mind as long as my curves look fine!
They only cost $24.97

After I found my jeans I was glancing thru the store and these blouses caught my eyes.
  They were on special!!!!
Most of the blouses were from last year summer collection and I guess they wanted to make space for the new spring and summer collection.
This Black blouse even though is not my size, it still look beautiful on me.  The stripes are a bit on the see thru size but with a black or white bra I won't have any problems. The black part on the sides are awesome they make my trunk look narrow. I love it!!
I would recommend this blouse for people who are trying to hide those love handles like me.

Regular price $24.00 Special price $7.50

Now this blouse I bought it and thought of spring. The flowers and the A shape look gave me a carefree feeling that only spring and summer makes me feel. I don't usually like flowers but this design was soft and delicate that I wanted to buy it ASAP! Plus the price was a real steal too, so how could I refuse??
The V shape gives my bust size a boost, makes my neck longer. The A shape covers those extra few pounds I want to hide.

Original Price $24.00 Special Price $4.99

This blouse was the only one that I couldn't hide anything. I love the design, the straps are wide which it would be easier for me to hide my bra underneath. But the reason I bought this blouse was because the detail it was soft yet complicated. I thought of maybe going to the park with some shorts or maybe going out with a cardigan. What I'm trying to say is: I can dress it up or down depending on were  I'm going

Original Price $19.99 Special Price $2.50

I love this dress!! I saw similar dresses during the summer time. Also on the victoria secret website I saw similar dresses but different colors for the spring time.  These dresses you can were them as a dress or as a skirt! I love multi use stuff! The color is fabulous! The first thing that came to my mind was this dress with some black knee length leggings and some white or tan wedge espadrilles. The second was this skirt with a wide brown belt and a white tank top.

Original Price $32.00 Special Price $7.50

The next item it is also a double wear item. You can use it as a blouse or as a skirt! I wore it as a skirt and I felt in love with it, then I wore it as a blouse and hate it! It makes me look to wide in my mid-section and no woman wants that! I guess I bought it because of the price, plus I have a yellow tank top that I never wear and this skirt would go marvelous. I can only imagine me wearing this skirt when we go to the beach or a lake with my bathing suit underneath.

Original Price $24.00 Special Price $2.50

Well, that's all my shopping!
I hope that you feel inspire to shop and pamper yourself without sacrificing your wallet.

Love y'all!! Don't forget to check back on my blog!
